Barman, Brandon Christie, 20, pulls a pint in the purple and gold bar area.
It has taken a team of five, two weeks to put up this stunning display of Christmas decorations in what is believed to be one of Britain's most festive pubs. The race was on to put up the 7,500 baubles and 27,000 fairy lights, before guests arrived for the pub's first Christmas parties held last night.
Each of the five rooms at the Hanging Gate at Chapel-en-le-Frith in the Derbyshire Peak District has a different theme or colour. This year the main restaurant is the Indoor Igloo, the bar area is purple and gold and there's the Candy Cain room upstairs in the pub near Buxton. There's also has another 10,000 lights on the outside of the building.
"We've had to replace a few thousand of the LED lights this year, I buy them in huge lengths so it's cost lots to get everything ready" said landlord Mark Thomas.
