A tree is cocooned in webs made by hundreds of thousands of ermine moth caterpillars. The bizarre silky phenomena, that looks like spiders’ webs is made by the caterpillars to protect them from birds. It has covered a single cherry tree, beside the A6 in  Whatstandwell near Belper in the Derbyshire Dales. <br />
